Happy New Year!
In 2022 I will probably release at least one more single in the series of pieces for cello and electronics. "The Girl and the Moon" are due to be released sometime during the summer.. I will also start releasing a new series of singles on my Upper Rooms Bandcamp page. They will eventually make up an entire album in a year or two, to be released on all platforms. But the singles will be released exclusively on Bandcamp and SoundCloud. There will actually be a lot of things showing up on my SoundCloud page during this year. Both old and new stuff. Have a listen if you like! |

New release out now! "Fantasies on a Journey Through Time and Space" is electronic headphone music suitable for the Times Of Social Distancing. A Sci-Fi story in sound about people on a journey towards the unknown. Melodic, melancholic, weird and humorous (I hope). All the music was coded with Sonic Pi, a new favourite tool of mine. June 2019
Update: My favourite French Horn player Sissel Morken Gullord will perform my piece "Canon and Coda" for solo horn and electronics at her solo recital at the Miry Concertzaal in Gent, Belgium on July the 3rd. I'm very honoured. The piece was actually written for her back in 2007. Break a leg! You can listen to a recording of the piece in the embedded player.
A big thank you to Tono for giving me a working grant for the creation of a new piece, "Ripples", for electric cello, six zithers, percussion and electronics. I'm looking forward to start the process! I will play a short live impro set in Oslo on June the 16th. Hope to see you there! Click here for more info. |

First of all: A big thank you to Komponistenes Vederlagsfond (The Composers’ Remuneration Fund) for giving me a working grant for making music for the new Upper Rooms album! I'm so happy they found my work worthy for support :-). Tracks keep coming - check out my Upper Rooms page on SoundCloud, and please give me feedback and comments on tracks you like. Maybe they'll end up on the album?
I've also been up north again, and here's the music to prove it: |

Meanwhile you can check out my Upper Rooms page on SoundCloud where I've uploaded a few oldies - both released and unreleased, and new tunes as well!

Out now on cassette (!), download and streaming: Dystutopians - The Summer Cassette!
This is a collection of playful electronic tunes made during the last year. Inspired by love, hate, dreams of Utopia and dystopian nightmares. I've only used hardware, vintage and new, to produce this music. Everything was played live in studio with no overdubs and computers involved (mastered in Ableton, though). Available from Bandcamp as a limited edition cassette (only 10 copies!) or download. Otherwise June was a busy month - lots of workshop activity and music to be completed. Things to mention: - I was a guest at the The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation talking about the piece Enhäz, where I use sounds from a dentist's office. Composed for a performance at the Faculty of Dental Surgery, University of Paris Descartes, Montrouge, on June the 22nd 2018. This was a part of a project curated by the label Tsuku Boshi for the Festival Lion Noir. You can listen to the whole composition by clicking the player underneath. |
